| Pasco County Launches Test of Emergency Notification System for State Pilot Program |
This mass notification is being developed
to warn you of emergent situations which
could endanger your life. Such
emergencies could include a hazardous
materials incident, wildfires, boil water
notices or other conditions.
We encourage or residents to participate in
this seven-month pilot program, which
includes more than one million
households from Pasco, Brevard, Orange,
and Polk counties. The service enables key
officials to send emergency information via
voice messages to county residents’
telephones.
